Have you ever heard of a PK in Illinois named Morgan Sheridan. He will be kicking for Coal City High School as a Senior next season. He has won the Downers Grove South accuracy competition two years in a row both as a JV and Varsity. Last year he posted the 2nd highest score they have ever had.
You may have missed Nick Freeland (Lawrence North HS) the #1 returning kicker in the state of Indiana Class of 2008. IFCA Junior All State Kicker, AP All STate, All Marion County Kicker 2006. Currently being recruited by Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Georgetown, Southern Mississippi, etc. Two game winning field goals. Long field goal of 41 yards against Warren Central HS. Two year Starter. 62% touchbacks. #5 Junior kicker at the Kohl's scholarship camp in 2006. Avg 67 yards per kickoff.

Check out Ben Parks Kicker/Punter form Argyle High School TX. 1st Team All State Kicker 3A 2006, SR MVP at SMU Kicking Camp this summer, won Punting competition at Iowa State and fininshed 2nd in place kicking. Has been nominated to play in the All American Bowl game in Jan of 08. Ben is 6'2" 195 and plays safety also. Made pre season all state all acamdemic 2nd team in Texas also
Watch out for a to be sophmore kicker from Middletown,Ohio named Zack Ferrell. He has a long of 51 yards on a field goal and is kicking touchbacks. Also has a long of 63 yard punt in a game.
Mike O'Brien McHenry 08, the kicker for the McHenry Warriors went 7/8 and had a 62 yard kickoff average with a 3.5 hangtime in the kicking.com combine series on friday july 20th in grand rapids michigan.
Check out Tyler Almeida, kicker and punter for Elyria High School. On 8/24/07 he punted 7 times and averaged ore than 50 yards. He had one kick measure 69 yards as it rolled dead on Midview's 11 yard line. Two others traveled 48 yards. His two kickoffs were touchbacks and he made his only field goad attempt.

You need to check out Ross Evans, senior kicker at Burnet High School, Texas. Just pulled into second place in the Texas record books for most kicked field goals in a high school career, 8th in the nation. Check out his stat's online. Just type in Kicker Ross Evans.......
Check out Matt Nelson from Steele HS. He is a little guy with a powerful leg. I believe he made a 48 yard field goal with very little time on the clock in the third round of the playoffs.
I have have seen Jimmy Newman kick before at Chris Sailer Las vegas camp in january 2008. He is currently on his top 12 and 8th in the country in his class. He should be getting offers pretty soon. I think he's from Oxford high school and a junior. My son told me he was probably in the top 4 best people his age in Las Vegas.
Jon Williams, Weber State sophomore for 2008, has a good chance to lead the Big Sky and possibly FCS in KO and FG in the upcoming season. In 2006, led Alcorn State in scoring as a true freshman; also led the SWAC in both FG and PAT%, making second team all-SWAC. Consistent top performer at 2007 and 2008 competitive camps in both FG and KO, averaging 65-75 yd KO and 3.9-4.0 sec HT, but redshirted at Grossmont Community College in 2007.
